Scenic Rim Tourism, Visit the Scenic Rim

Scenic Rim Tourism provides information for visiting the beautiful Scenic Rim, a great place for a day trip or a weekend away. There is a lot to do here from farm visits, bush walking, fishing or skiing at the lake, rock climbing, camping or just relaxing and having a bite to eat at one of our Cafes.

Visitor Information Centres will provide you with all the information you need for your visit to the Scenic Rim.

Visiting Boonah

Your first point of call while visiting Boonah would be the Visitors Information Center at:
Bicentennial Park
20 Boonah Fassifern Rd, Boonah 4310
Ph 5463 2233 | Fax 5463 2135

Located in Bicentennial Park on the approach to Boonah, the Visitor Information Center is a valuable resource for visitors but also for locals wanting information to plan their own holidays. Staffed by local volunteers and a part-time coordinator they are open 7 days a week from 9:30am - 4:00pm.

Only closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day morning. Drop in and talk to a passionate local about things to see and do in the Boonah area and the western and northern areas of the Scenic Rim.

On Facebook you'll find What's On In Boonah to keep you updated with current events.

We have some fun farm tours - visit the Robotic Dairy located just outside of Beaudesert or Naughty Little Kids (their goat milk gelato is delicious) near Peak Crossing.

You'll find some holiday or weekend getaway ideas on our Business Directory under Accommodation.
