Scenic Rim Kids EZine, Issue #001 -- Enjoy!
March 21, 2011

Welcome to the first edition of the Scenic Rim Kids E-zine!

Thanks for subscribing and congratulations to Susan, the winner of our first giveaway.

We have updated the Website Header to give Scenic Rim Kids its own look – separate from the Scenic Rim Guide. I hope you like it.

Inside the ezine you'll find lots of great links, some colouring in sheets to keep the kids busy and some bookmarks to print to celebrate Scenic Rim Kids new look.

The great thing about the web is there is soooo much information available – the hard bit is to sort through all the rubbish to find the gems. We've searched around and found some great kids info online for you. Enjoy!

Need some School lunch box inspiration?: I love – here are some kids lunch box ideas.

Back to school fears: Back to School Anxiety | Handling School Fears

Making friends: Kids Health - Making Friends | Kidspot - Making Friends

After school activities: We have great after school activities for kids in most towns in the Scenic Rim – sometimes a little travel is involved. It's great to see within our small towns we have qualified dance and gymnastic teachers, swimming, sports and music teachers. You'll find more in our ARTS, SPORTS, CLUBS directories.

Then we have scouts and guides, pony club and more! The hardest part is choosing what to do.

Here's a calendar which includes some great ideas for activities to do with your kids. Kids Calendar

Feeling crafty? Kids love painting – here's a homemade finger paint recipe (just don't tell them it's edible or they might think all paint is!)

Julie has created some great original colouring in pages for you. You can find them here

Not long now until Easter. Here are some Easter Colour in pages.

Here's a Scenic Rim Kids Love to Read Bookmark or a blank Bookmark Template for the kids to make their own creations.

We'd like to know what you’d like to see in the ezine, if you have any ideas let us know. Contact Us

Thanks for Reading, see you next term :)
